Things are in turmoil in the Nyawo tribe in Ngwavuma, as the son faces off against his younger father over the throne.

It is a country found out that the situation between the reigning King Zithulele Gagashe Nyawo (33) and his younger father, Mr. Solomuzi Nyawo (53) is getting more and more tense.

According to the family member, Ms. Gugu Nyawo, the conflict over the Nyawo throne started in 1993, when King Mbabane Nyawo, who had 14 wives, abdicated.

Mrs. Nyawo said that King Mbabane had many sons but Diliza and Vini, who are both dead, were the ones who seemed to claim the throne. After King Mbabane bowed, he said Mvini entered the throne, and that’s when he said the clash of cups started.

He said Mvini was not fit to enter the kingdom because he was born to Ma Mkhize who was the second wife (forget) of King Mbabane.

On the other hand, he said that Diliza was born to Ma Kwesaba (iqadi) who was the third wife of King Mbabane and who was betrayed by the tribe – which made him the one who gave birth to the king as he also got Diliza.

In Zulu terms, he said the qadi is the royal family that gives birth to a king.

”We don’t know how the Ministry of Governance is doing as when King Mbabane bowed, Mvini entered in an inappropriate way when Diliza was there,” he said.

Narrating, he said Mvini took the reins of the throne until he abdicated in 2023, and then his son who is currently on the throne, Gagashe, entered.

”You can see that because of a mistake that happened a long time ago, the kingdom is not in the right hands. This thing is very damaging to this nation and it is destroying us completely,” he said.

He said that Solomuzi is Diliza’s brother (the one who should have entered after Mbabane’s bow) which makes him (Solomuzi) the one who should be on the throne because Diliza got his two sons from a girlfriend because of that he will not be able to sit on the throne.

He complains that this situation has caused a confrontation between the son and his younger father.

When contacted by Solomuzi, he admitted that things are messed up in the nation because he was mysteriously deprived of his throne.

He said that he will not just keep quiet and fold his hands when what belongs to him is not with him.

“I’m the one who should be on the throne but it’s not like that, instead the son is sitting. This is not good and it makes me sad in another way,” he explained.

Continuing, he said that what hurts him the most is that the king who is currently on the throne is doing a lot to distort it, which he said will destroy the nation. He said he will continue to fight until the time comes for Caesar’s return to him.

”Both Mvini and Diliza are brothers but their mothers are different. I am on the side of the sons born to the qadi, we have my brother Diliza,” he explained.

The king who is in the chair said that this matter is serious, he asks to return to the reporter when he has time to speak properly where there will be no noise.
