There was joy in the hearts of the King of the King Ntokozo of Mayisela Zulu at the prayer of the Zululand region which was called by the Prime Minister of KwaZulu-Natal Mr. Thamsanqa Ntuli.

This prayer, which was held at the Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi Stadium, Lundi, brought together the leaders of different churches from the Methodists, the Nazarenes, the Zionists, the Apostles and other denominations.

The Prime Minister said religious leaders continue to play an important role in reviving morale in communities and addressing challenges that endanger the lives of members of the community, such as crime, drug use, gender-based violence, family disintegration and the breakdown of social cohesion.

“The Provincial Prayer Gathering is a call to religious leaders to pray for the salvation of people, peace, unity in society, and prosperity for the people of KwaZulu-Natal,” said Ntuli.

In this prayer, Ntuli was accompanied by the religious leader of the province, Chaplain Lungi M.
