ISHINGA from Mandlakazi, KwaNongoma, in the north of KwaZulu-Natal, who is a cultural activist Phakel’ umthakathi, has revealed that he is not at all intimidated by the actions of the immigrants, accusing them of collecting R1 million to pay an ox to kill him.

Phakel’ the witch, whose birth name is Nkosikhona Ndabandaba, said this while speaking in Harding, on the south coast of KZN on Monday, where he and his team, led by former Khozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu – were continuing their protest against illegal immigrants.

“I have heard that there is a group of immigrants in this country based near us in KwaNongoma, who had a meeting in Newcastle last Wednesday, where they gathered R1 million to pay an ox to kill me.

“However, all that does not scare me at all and will not stop me from carrying out the vision and the call that we are carrying out to protect our country, and to fight for people who are hiding in it illegally – to return to their place of origin,” said Phakel’ the witch.

Continuing, he said he knew everything about the plot of those men, and he also heard that they had planned for him to be killed last Friday because they knew he would be in Kwa Nongoma that day, but their plan failed because they told someone they knew what they wanted to do to him – he refused and ended up helping them achieve their goals of being nominated.

“Therefore, I appeal to my fellow countrymen not to allow themselves to be addicted to people who lure you with money because they want you to achieve their wrong goals, they want them to continue to enrich themselves illegally in our country.

“I am saying this because as far as I know, as it has happened many times to me that there have been people who bribed me with a sum of money, because they wanted me to stop all that I am doing to fight for our country; but I ignored them because my aim is to protect our country so that we can live freely in it,” he said.

The protest continued in Mnambithi, in central KZN yesterday; and it is expected that it will continue in different places and cities throughout the country until the deadline of June 30, which is the date decided by different organizations and activists to strike when there is no longer any immigrant who will be in this country illegally.
