IMOTO: JMC VIGUS
Not long after, the Chinese company, JMC, launched its first van in South Africa, the Vigus, followed by a new double cab.
Two months ago, this company whose cars are delivered by Salvador Caetano South Africa, launched the Vigus with a price starting at R299 900 for a single cab.
Let’s do it with the new Vigus double cab. It has a 2.5l diesel engine with a power of 123kW and a torque of 410Nm.
The gearbox is divided into two as there is a 6 speed manual and an 8 speed automatic. There is also a 4×4.
This van is said to be able to carry a weight of 915kg.
It has wheels with 17 inch rims, LED daytime running lights, climbing steps and more.
Inside there is a touchscreen infotainment system to which you connect a mobile phone via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, electrically adjustable front seats, and more.
The price starts from R399 900 and ends at R499 900.
Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) is not an automobile startup as it was founded in 1947.
Apart from that, it has relationships with the famous companies Isuzu, Ford and Changan that it works with in its country of origin.
In fact, the Ford Territory sold in this country is built in the JMC factory in China.
In China, JMC also builds the Isuzu D-Max and MU-X.
