Bihar Boy Develops AI Model: 19-year-old Lal from Bihar has made headlines by creating an AI model on his own. Anand has created 582b multimodal AI by spending Rs 11 lakh with his hard work. This model can also provide image generation of 512×512 resolution and speech output of 24kHz. There are all kinds of reactions on the internet on this act of a boy from a middle-class family.

According to reports, this multimodal system has achieved a score of 93.45 on OmniDocBench V1.5 during private testing. Anand had also trained a text-to-video system on his laptop before this project.
Anand’s father is a government officer and mother is a housewife. It is worth noting that his family spent around Rs 64,000 on GPU compute alone, which is a huge amount for a middle-class family. Currently he is looking for funding of $35,000 for this entire project.
