Figure 3 Robot Safety: A humanoid robot named Figure 3, seen walking the catwalk in the White House with Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump, is being said to be used as a teacher for children in homes. A security related lawsuit is going on against the company that made this robot, Figure AI. In fact, a former security employee of the company claimed that the Figure 3 robot is extremely dangerous and can break a human skull in one stroke. Controversy has now arisen over the issue of using such robots at home with children.

Will a robot with the power to break a human skull become children’s teacher?
Melania Trump Humanoid Guest : On Wednesday, a humanoid robot seen with US President Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump at the White House caught everyone’s attention. Actually, America’s First Lady Melania Trump was hosting this robot named Figure 3. This robot has been made by a company named Figure AI. Their Figure 3 robot participated in a summit based on education and technology and welcomed all the guests in different languages. This was the first time that a robot had been seen walking the catwalk with the First Lady in this manner.

It is worth noting that there is a discussion going on about making this robot a teacher to children, while the former security employee of the company making the robot has said that it can break a human skull in one stroke. Due to this, a lawsuit is also going on against Figure AI.

Why did Melania Trump host a robot?

In fact, by hosting this robot in the White House, Melania Trump has talked about connecting AI with children’s education. He believes that this robot can help in the education of children at home in the future. The great thing is that this robot has been manufactured in America itself. Hosting robots in the White House is also being linked to the ongoing technology war with China.

Who is Figure 3 and the company that created it, Figure AI?

Figure AI was started by Brett Adcock in 2022. Today the value of this company is 39 billion dollars i.e. about Rs 3.2 lakh crore. Giants like Nvidia, Intel and Microsoft have invested money in this company. This company has direct competition with Tesla’s Optimus robot.

Humanoid robots like Figure 3 of this company work on Helix AI system. Their specialty is that they learn things by watching and talking to humans. These robots are currently being used in BMW factories to lift heavy parts.

Controversy with Figure AI

Although Figure AI may not be a small company, this company is currently embroiled in a big lawsuit. In fact, the former security head of this company alleges that these robots are so powerful that they can break the bones of a human skull in one stroke. According to reports, (REF.) once these robots accidentally made a deep hole in a steel refrigerator. However, the company has been calling these things lies. In such a situation, questions are being raised that how appropriate would it be to keep such robots at home with children?
