KHUZA returns from the leadership positions at the Royal Palace who spoke for the King, Prince Africa Zulu.
Prince Africa is about to become part of a key committee at the Royal Palace as he has been appointed as the Deputy Chancellor of Zulu and the Royal Palace.
His appointment was announced by the Prime Minister of Zulu, Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi.
Buthelezi said that Prince Africa will be part of the council that takes decisions following the instructions of Zwelithini’s King Misuzulu Sinqobile.
Buthelezi is the Chairman of the council which includes the Deputy Prime Minister of Zulu, Inkosi Phathisizwe Chiliza, the Chancellor of Zulu and the King of Silo, Malusi Zondi, the spokesman for Silo Prince Thulani ka Gqikazi Zulu and the representative of Silo in the House of Native Leadership, Prince Nathi ka Phumanyova Zulu.
“This council is the one that supports Silo in administration, cultural preservation, community development and communication with government agencies.”
Buthelezi said the appointment of Prince Africa shows Mbube’s commitment to strengthening the institutions that serve the nation.
“Prince Africa has a lot of experience in leadership structures at the Royal Palace. The knowledge he gained while holding other positions here at the Royal Palace will be of great help. Prince Africa will ensure that the Office of the Chancellor of Zulu and the Royal Palace work well and also ensure the efficiency of all administrative structures. We congratulate Prince Africa and wish him the best of luck as he is about to start such a great job given to him by Silo.”
Prince Africa has previously spoken for Silo but was sacked twice.
Prince Africa was dismissed for the first time after clashing with the then prime minister of Zulu, King Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
Prince Africa returned to office after King Mangosuthu bowed.
He was deposed again in 2024.
