“WISE” the profit she made by writing books and helping other writers to publish their books is bearing good fruit for Ms. Amanda Chonco, who has expanded into her second business of lending and leasing cars.

Ms Chonco of the book publishing company Gambushe Press, is now breastfeeding her twins as she has become involved in the car business she runs through her company KwaMavundla Fleet Solutions, which she started earlier this year.

“I did this because I am a person who is always looking for opportunities that will help me to be independent and do many things for myself beyond asking and bothering my parents. I started like that a few years ago by writing books, which is proven by the fact that I have now written 11 books, and I have published other authors as well,” he said.

Continuing, he said that he used part of the money he made by selling his books and was paid by writers who publish books in his company, and he built on it – he bought three cars to start his new business.

“I also remember that one of the things that helped me the most is that I used to help another businessman with a similar business, to whom I used to lend my car when he had a lot of customers, I relied on him when I started my own,” said Ms. Chonco.

He said that one of the things that is currently working for him to find customers is that he uses social media to attract new customers, and that he shows the beauty of his work – which also helps him to be loyal to his customers.

“What I am focusing on now is growing this new business. I want it to be known to many people in different parts of the country, and I will continue to write, publish my books and other writers, especially young people in the field,” he said.

Beyond business, Ms. Chonco holds a Bachelor of Public Administration degree from Rosebank College. Among the books he has written are How To Pass Matric With Maximum Distinctions, The Secrets of Success, Rejections, Smart Woman, Wounds, Widow, My Father’s Family, The Life of an Orphan, If I Had Listened, My Heart Chose Him and Life Changes.
