THEY WILL TAKE ALL THE RECOMMENDATIONS and start preparations for next year’s event organizers, Offramp Experience, and Gu Jazz Festival at the Gwini Sports & Leisure Center for three days in Port Shepstone from Thursday until the early hours of the morning.

Siya Msomi, who organizes these events, said they are very happy with the support they have received from their event attendees, sponsors, musicians, staff and the public.

“The success of Gu Jazz Festival and Offramp Experience shows what can happen if we work together,” said Siya.

The events started on Thursday with a Gala Dinner and Comedy where the aim was to build relationships with businessmen.

Mondli Ngcobo, Zawadi Yamungu and comedian Mondli Mzizi, Nonto R, Chesterville Twins performed.

Friday night was the Worship Experience. Pastor Benjamin Dube, Nontokozo Mkhize, Ntokozo Ngongoma, Sgwili, Nkanyiso, Hlengiwe Mhlaba and others sang.

There were lecturers and the program was hosted by Gagasi FM presenter, Linda Sibiya.

On Saturday there was a big Gu Jazz Festival event. You were made in a big tent like a hut to ward off the cold.

But it was noticed that they were not there like in previous years, it was cool. People were crowded into the tent, and there were two other dignitaries attached to the sides.

Among the dignitaries who were present were the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture in KZN, Mntomuhle Khawula, whose department was the main sponsor, the Mayor of Gu who owns jazz, Sikhumbuzo Mqadi, and other politicians.

Naledi Aphiwe, Zawadi Yamungu, Siphokazi, Mawhoo, DJ 101, Bongani Nkwanyana, Don Laka, DJ Ken and Masheddys and many others were singing.
