It is said that two men from KwaMashu, who were robbed of Sigonyela’s bracelets at the Thala Shopping Centre, on Malendela Road, were caught by a drug addict on Monday, for selling fake doctor’s books.

The suspects are said to have been selling medical certificates to workers for between R100 and R150.

It turns out that these books contain the details of real doctors, it is not clear how they fell into the hands of the suspects who ended up using them for years to make quick money. It turns out that they were doing this practice in the corridors of the shopping mall.

It is said that when they were buying books from the suspects, they wanted to deliver them to their employers if they had been absent from work, because they wanted to make it seem like they were sick.

It is said that they cost R100 for a one-day book, and R150 for a three-day book.

With the discovery ofOf this country According to a source who asked not to be identified, on the day they were arrested, the police who got a clue about this arrived at the scene and asked the drug addict where to find the doctors who sell fake medical records.

“It is said that the policeman, who was not wearing a uniform, asked the drug addict where they were, and he took it and brought it to them,” said the source.

He said that the suspects who did not realize that they had entered the prison, took out R50 and gave it to a drug addict by bringing it to a customer, who then beat him and spent it.

“The drug addict is gone, they left to make a letter for the ‘patient’, and when they were done, he revealed himself to be a police officer, and they cried for them,” he said.

He said it has been 10 years since the accused committed this crime but they were not caught.

With the discovery ofOf this country one of the doctors whose information was used has worked at KwaMashu for more than 30 years.

Commenting on the matter on Facebook, he said he wished to clarify that the suspects are not doctors at all but criminals who used books bearing his name.

“They were selling them on the street. This sale of books with my name, as well as several other doctors, has been going on for 14 years,” explained the doctor, who praised the police for doing a good job investigating and arresting the suspects.
