THE family of the television show chef Zalo, who was allegedly shot dead by unknown people on Friday, is busy with funeral arrangements for her husband who died in a car accident on Sunday.
The deceased Mrs. Zandile Blose (44) is said to have been shot by two men who were wearing shorts and a paqa, outside the gate of her home in K, KwaMashu. According to a relative who asked not to be named, the suspects arrived in a Toyota Etios, which has been speeding inexplicably in the area and carrying searchers.
A relative told us It is a country that this just happened, the deceased appeared in the water, following the death of her husband, Mr. Msizi Blose, in a car accident that happened in Mpumalanga province, last Sunday.
“The husband had been in Durban as they had a house in Mzinyathi, Nanda. He said that when he returned to work in Mpumalanga, he was involved in an accident, hitting a cow that had entered the road, and then his car overturned and hit a truck, and he died,” said the relative.
We said that Mrs. Blose was living in candles at her home in Mzinyathi, and other relatives came at the beginning of the week to inform her.
“She got a call from her husband’s office, they were talking about something, and they even confirmed whether they were talking to Mrs. Blose,” said the relative.
We pointed out that it was after this call that a close relative of Mr. Blose showed that this is not sitting well.
“Mrs. Blose even told other family members that she feels unsafe, this man will kill her,” said the relative.
Continuing the story, we said that something mysterious happened three times on Friday, this man, who came to their home in Mzinyathi, in an unknown car.
“Mrs. Blose woke up the children and locked them in one room, and she left the candlelight, saying that she saw that the man, who had been talking on the phone above the house, was going to kill her,” he said.
He said that Mrs. Blose did not sleep anymore, she waited for the morning, and called a car to pick her up to take her to K’s house, KwaMashu, to pick up some things as she had to go to fix something at the Bridge City shopping mall, including sending money to buy a cow for the funeral.
The source said that he was just attacked, he was just leaving the gate of his home at K, heading to Bridge City.
“When the car came to pick him up, with a driver and another friend of his, there was an Etios, which had been standing for a while but no one was paying attention. He said he was locking the gate and he beat him, so he let it go, it was locked by his friend, and he went to the car. He was just closing the door when two men opened fire at him inside the car,” said the source.
He said the person the suspects shot was the only deceased, before they ran away and entered the Etios, calling for papers. He said they were wearing shorts and shorts, their faces were not covered and the incident happened during the day.
“There is no one else to blame, we blame the same man who the deceased said that he saw that he was going to kill him. We want Mkhwanazi to send a team to investigate and arrest people. That is the justice we want,” he said.
He said that due to the recent incident, Mr. Blose’s funeral was eventually postponed to next weekend, so that they would be buried together.
He confirmed that this woman had been cooking for Zalo’s team for years and was a businessman who made a living from the catering and decoration business for years. He said he and Mr. Blose got married in 2014, and they have three children, including a 14-year-old son.
