CHANGE that comes with winter is often felt before it is seen. This is done because the human body is sensitive at this time, which makes it quickly appear if your skin becomes enslaved due to the changed air.

What makes it easy for the human skin to be enslaved is that it is transparent and directly faces the hardships of winter. This requires us to withstand all the harshness of the cold wind.

The bad effect of cold on human skin is that the cold air, when it hits hard, turns into a sponge that absorbs water from you, which causes your skin to remain dry.

Hot and dry air is like pepper to a wound, in that it causes damage by causing dryness in the skin to the point that for some it starts to peel or even tear.

This is where many people often start looking for help to stop the damage they see on their skin. Some even end up using products that can end up being harmful to themselves.

However, health experts have pointed out that using more powerful products such as retinols or vitamin C serums on problem skin will not help, it can only make the damage worse than before.

They warned that if you have a skin problem, you should not rush to powerful products, you just need to start by looking and finding out what your skin needs, and then do the right thing.

Although many people have skin problems in winter, but for some it is more than that as such changes can cause or lead to other serious skin problems. So it is important that you quickly deal with a problem or a change that you do not understand well in your skin.

The secret to keeping your skin healthy and protected doesn’t require much, you just need to take extra care of it – don’t wait for winter to damage it before you take steps to protect it. Here are some that may help you:

  1. Gentle Cleanser: What you need to do in winter is to protect your skin beyond removing the natural oils it needs, so avoid strong products that may be harmful to it, and use those approved by dermatologists and that are safe for you.
  2. Effective Moisturizer: In the summer your skin doesn’t need much to stay healthy, but in the winter it needs more care, so look for skin products that can help you with that such as glycerin or hyaluronic acid and ceramide to keep your skin healthy and moist all the time.
  3. Use skin protection products: Such products help a lot in keeping the skin healthy and protected from the sun and cold air. The skin does not need powerful products to protect it, it just needs patience and protection in a way that will not harm it.
