Zwelithini’s Zwelithini King Misuzulu Sinqobile, Prince Thulani of Gqikazi Zulu, denies that he was fired from his position and ordered not to visit palaces.

The Prince of Zibindini said he did not receive a letter notifying him of his expulsion. He said this in response to media reports which indicated that he was nominated for the position.

Reports have revealed that Prince Thulani was shown the way in a meeting at the palace in Mashobeni, on Friday.

According to reports, Mbube is said to have left Prince Thulani unaware, saying that he did not want to see him in the palace again.

It is said that the noise was removed by a recorded speech that has spread on social media where Mntwana Thulani is heard climbing down one of Silo’s confidants, Mr. Arnold Nododile (Ndamase).

In this speech, Prince Thulani is heard complaining that Ndamase did not inform the Zulu Royal Family about the King’s meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa, which was called to deliberate on the issue affecting immigrants.

The meeting between Silo and Ramaphosa caused an uproar in the Zulu Palace as some complained that Mbube went to the meeting without being accompanied by the Zulu Prime Minister, Rev. Thulasizwe Buthelezi, or the Ntwana.

Mbube was traveling with Ndamase and his fiancee Sihle Mdhluli who was not part of the meeting.

Prince Thulani’s speech where he accused Ndamase of urinating on the Zulu throne, went viral on social media last week.

It is said that Ndamase came and played this speech at the Friday meeting, Mbube got angry and threw water on him and kicked out Prince Thulani.

Affected byOf this country Yesterday, Mntwana Thulani dismissed the reports.

“Where do you get this story from? Me I live in the Royal Palace, I am a native, I am not employed. Has anyone ever been fired from them? I don’t know that.”

Prince Thulani said he will continue to do his job as the King’s mouthpiece.

“On April 9, 2025, when the King asked me to do this job, there was a letter he wrote. He also announced it to the media. Is there a letter saying I was fired that you have seen?”

Prince Thulani started in this position during the reign of King Goodwill Zwelithini of Bhekuzulu.

He continued even when Ndlamithi yamakhosi came to the throne but he left at the end of 2022 as he was reprimanded the previous year.

Prince Thulani is one of those who were at the forefront of supporting Silo when there was a struggle for the Chairmanship of Zulu.
