END up doubting the MKP party that its leader, Mr. Jacob Zuma, is not part of the people who authorized the expulsion of his daughter Mrs. Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla and Mr. Nhlamulo Ndhlela, who are some of the people who were present at the founding of the party.

This dispute was ended by the party’s Vice President Mr. Tony Yengeni, who lashed out at those who spread lies about the party saying that Zuma is not part of the meetings that are pointing the way for the members and leaders of the party.

“There are people who question the president’s decisions. They say that Zuma is not part of the decisions taken by the MKP to fire them. We need to put an end to the gossip and criticism of the party leaders. It is not true that Zuma does not know the decisions taken by the party,” Yengeni said at a press conference yesterday in Johannesburg.

Reading the statement of the leaders of this group, the general secretary, Mr. Sibonelo Nomvalo, said that they were fired because of the statements they were making on social media.

He said that they were against the party’s goals, which is one of the things that undermines the dignity and unity of MKP.

“They created division with some of the things they were doing and saying. Ndhlale violated the party’s policies by calling a press conference without the approval of the relevant bodies. I will stop talking about these issues today, if you meet us and ask us about other things. There are no attempts to shut Zuma’s children or family out of the MKP. We assigned Zuma’s son, Duduzane to different provinces and entrusted him as a member of the MKP, he never came back and said his father said, he said,” said Nomvalo.

He warned members who are in violation of the law that they will face disciplinary action.

“Zuma used the power he has in the constitution to expel these people from the MKP. His decision must be followed by all parties in the party,” said Nomvalo.

He also revealed that Mrs. Zuma-Sambudla and Ndhlala, who spoke for the group, did not listen to the order of the leader of the group in Parliament, Dr. John Hlophe, not to attend the funeral of a member of the group who was hidden at the weekend, Mr. Muzi Ntshingila.

“When Ntshingila was sick, they took him out of the hospital and took him to another hospital to remove him from his family. Ntshingila’s belongings were also removed from the houses where members of Parliament live without the family’s permission. The family lamented the way Ntshingila was treated. Even though Hlophe said they would not go to the funeral, they insisted and wrote on social media about Ntshingila. We would like to apologize to Ntshingila’s family for what happened during their time of grief,” said Nomvalo.

He said that since they have been expelled, they have been stripped of their membership and are no longer associated with the group. Zuma said he has no relationship with President Cyril Ramaphosa, because they have met and he knew him when he was young.

“I know him since he was a boy and I am older than him. I am not like Ramaphosa. There is nothing between me and him, we are from far away. I have no problem with Ramaphosa, we meet and laugh. We were in Swaziland and he was very happy. He is leading the country, he is in trouble my Lord but that is not my problem,” said Zuma.

He was responding to the issue that there might be a meeting between him and Ramaphosa.
