He has publicly expressed his displeasure with the Royal Chancellor, King Malusi Zondi, regarding serious allegations that he was at the forefront of the selection of the company that received the water tender in Mkhomazi.

The allegations are that the water tender was worth R20 billion and that Zondi ended up benefiting from R8 million in protection money.

Zondi complains that these are serious allegations and are aimed at tarnishing her name for no reason.

According to reports, it was revealed that Zondi received this money from the company because he said that he helped it and protected it so that it would work well and no soul would leave and no employee would be harmed in this tender of millions of rands from Mgeni, Thukela Water.

According to a report by News 24, it appears that there is an invoice from Zondi’s company called Mancinza, which he said he used to get his payment from Stefanutti Stock, which is the company that got the job.

In all this, Zondi defends himself and says that his name is being tarnished by people he does not know. He stated that these allegations are serious and depress him a lot.

He emphasized that he is innocent because he does business work that is free of corruption, straightforward, leaves no questions and is carried out without scams.

”These allegations are very bad and are blatant lies. The truth is that I’m just doing direct business work,” he said in response to the statement he issued.

In relation to the project in question, he said that his role was to help them by providing them with security guards and also by helping them to be able to communicate properly with the public legally, and he said that there was nothing more than that.

”In this work in question, there is no where it can be said that I ended up being involved in crime, there is nothing like that,” he explained.

It will be remembered that the tender in question has been delayed and it ended there until blood was spilled.

This came after Mr. Xolani Chamane who was the Director of Mngeni Water was shot dead. The deceased who was responsible for this work was shot in the garage, Westville in July 2023.

This case appears to be in the hands of the Public Prosecution Unit.

The tender was in the headlines even when its issue reached the court after a company called CSEC took it to court complaining that it was dismissed in an improper manner.

It is being talked about so much, many people including the people of Mkhomazi, Kwa Makhutha, Manzimtoti are looking forward to the completion of the construction of the Ngwadini dam so that they can easily get water.

According to reports, about 50,000 people will benefit once the tender is completed. This project is described as very important as the President of the country Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa once spoke about it and the importance of it being completed for the benefit of the citizens.

It will be remembered that Zondi was appointed by the King Misizulu of Zwelithini to be the ambassador of the seat of Zulu in order to facilitate the communication of businessmen and international investors with the aim of developing the nation as a whole.

Zondi is also the President of an organization made up of different businessmen called the Black Business Federation (BBF). He was at the forefront of fighting for workers of the Tongaat Huletts sugar company not to be laid off recently.
