The hope of Afro pop singer, Makhosazana “Azana” Masango is in the hands of the people of this country as she was one of the 24 ladies from this country who advanced to the next stage of the Miss South Africa pageant.

Azana, who revealed two months ago that she is part of this event, is one of the ladies representing the province of KwaZulu-Natal in this competition.

In this state he has partnered with ladies includingAlia Khan Koumantarakis, Sunshine Dlangamandla, Sibahle Ngwenya, Unami Mthethwa and Nonggebo Mngadi.

Although the organizers of this event had revealed the news that voting for those who advanced to this stage will start on Saturday, they also revealed that due to the confusion, they will soon announce when it will start.

“We congratulate all the ladies who have entered the next stage of the competition. We would like to apologize that the voting process did not start at the time and date we had set due to some confusion. But now we ask for people’s patience and we will announce the date on which it will start,” said the Miss SA Organisation.

Azana, when the news came out that she was trying her luck in this competition, she revealed that she wanted to using the title of Miss South Africa to improve schools in villages and townships.

Azana (25) who hails from Chesterville, Durban, has made a name for herself with songs including Your Love which used to be heard on the show Love and Polygamy, These people, Love Cases he did it with Big Zulu, and others.

The singer is pursuing a degree in law and describes himself as someone who likes to help people. He emphasized that he is eager for change in rural schools and townships.

“Rural and township schools are struggling due to lack of infrastructure and resources. Matric students get the same exam papers but they are not able to access science and computer labs, libraries, toilets, get tables and chairs and even a calculator,” said Azana.

He said that as Miss SA, he will work with the Miss SA Organization to change the lives of students and teachers in these schools and restore dignity to the community.
