Sizwe Party (MKP) UMKHONTO will also attack the poet who made his name famous by presenting My Drum on 1KZN TV, Nomkelemane Langa, in the local government elections on November 4.

Nomkelemane also made a name for himself by being a poet who went up and down with MKP President, Mr. Jacob Zuma, when he was in court, he will represent MKP in ward 3 in Nkandla Municipality.

Nomkelemane (48) was voted for elethu. Commenting on his appointment, Nomkelemane said he was very happy to see the people of his community trusting him, especially those in Lushaba and Khabela.

Nomkelemane said that the calf is no longer afraid of politics because his uncle, Mr. Sam Siwela was born to him, was a Congress activist from the 1960s, who was hunted by Afrikaners during apartheid in Katlehong and Johannesburg.

He said that made it so that in Nkandla school children who had fled the violence in Johannesburg stayed, there was always talk of King Albert Luthuli, Oliver Tambo and Nelson Mandela.

“But because the ANC no longer had the truth, white is called black and black is called white. I saw my father being tortured (said Zuma), who was smeared with buffalo hooves, defiled by people who even tied him up, I made the decision to run for politics, I kept silent and watched, waiting for my father to speak. And here he was talking showing the site and saying that Mkhonto we Sizwe should not build our home, and I said Mjoli’s little one.”

Nomkelemane said he feels very happy to enter history “to nurture and protect Nxamalala’s dream of protecting black people and returning the land to traditional kings. What is very encouraging is to see my father in his old age, with everything but continue to sacrifice his grandchildren to fight again to raise us in politics.”

Nomkelemane was born in Nkandla, at the foot of Thala, to King Mchunu in KwaVimbimbobo village under Hlahla VD. He is the son of Mr Zeblon Tshelubani Mhlekwa and Mrs Reginah Sesana Langa, MaSiwela.

He is the youngest of their six children. He attended primary schools in Chwezi Primary, Nkandla, Mpucuzeko Primary KwaMhlongo Farm, Nkandla High and Mnqandi High in Nkandla, where he completed his matric.

Nomkelemane is also a mask singer and a writer of poetry books. He appealed to the community of Nkandla to support him to manage this ward which has been controlled by one group.
