According to Arno Roodt, operations officer of the Solidarity Movement, South Africa is under tremendous pressure in almost every field. Crumbling municipalities, decaying infrastructure, violent crime, porous borders and more than a decade of economic stagnation have created fertile breeding grounds for growing frustration over illegal immigration.
