YEARS ago, many Zionist churches were famous for not caring about the way they looked but denied that they were spiritually strong. This ultimately made them look down on society, especially churches that are different from them.

However, with the passage of time, things have changed and more and more churches seem to care about neatness in the way they dress – as evidenced by the change in the way they dress and the different plans they make to improve and grow.

Mr. Vela Mbuyisa, who is known as the Chief of The Zion City in SA church: Omacekecek, who runs a program he calls Qhakaza Zion, where he uses the group platform on Facebook to spread the beauty of different programs of Zionists, agrees with that idea.

In an interview withIt’s the weekend about this, Mbuyisa who is originally from Mpangeni, but is now based in Lovu, south of Durban, said he started doing this in 2024 and it seems to be bearing fruit and being appreciated as now the platform has 86,000 fans.

“It is my way of spreading the beauty of Zionists to the people, and that we are trying to end this existing belief that Zionists are people who do not care about cleanliness and are sloppy. I use this platform to show how beautiful we become when we are in different services in the churches we serve, and what other good things we do,” said Mbuyisa.

Continuing, he said that one of the good things about this platform is that it allows the Zionist people in it to spread the different activities they do, including sewing, washing and ironing the Zionist union, and they also advertise events.

“I think it’s a very good thing because it helps to ensure that there is always one spirit in the Zionists, and it highlights the beauty of the different things we do in the churches we serve in, which I think will help eliminate the spirit of looking down on each other,” he said.
