“It is an undeniable FACT that not everyone is happy with love, so I thought it was good to use the art of music to express the anger of those who are disappointed in love, while also showing the beauty and pleasure of being loved.”

That’s what the house and deep house singer, Sboniso L Musician says about his new album entitled Loss & Love EP, which came out last month and composed five songs that contain different messages related to the feeling of love.

Sboniso wa Kwandengezi, Durban, revealed that in this project he collaborated with musicians Da Alto and Brandon Dhludhlu; as well as Da Gifto – who contributed to the production of their songs.

“This work is a combination of songs that talk about the pain of loving someone but they don’t love you the way you love them, and it clearly shows that being disappointed by the people you love can make you stop believing in love. There are also a few songs that show that even though it’s true, there is true love,” he said.

Continuing, he said that some of the things he wrote and sang about in the Loss & Love EP came from real situations he faced in his life, and he thought it was good to use art to heal himself by removing the pain felt inside his heart.

“It took me about two months to complete this project, and what helped me the most is that I am a person who spends most of my time in the studio cooking music that I plan to release little by little until I flourish in this role,” he said.

This artist’s birth name is Siboniso Msweli. She rose to prominence in music with her first album, The Weight of Silence, which came out last year; and beyond that he has worked with other artists including Mngomezulu, Lance Hebron and KnightSA.
