It is almost a year and a half later after four children between the ages of four and seven disappeared without a trace from their parents’ home in Ntabankulu in the Eastern Cape.

The Falcons have now pleaded anew for information that can help in locating the children.

Sive Siganga (7), Oyintando Siganga (4), Thabsile Siganga (4) and Thabile Siganga (4) were last seen on 10 November 2024 while they were playing in the yard of their parents’ house and then disappeared without a trace, under circumstances that still baffle investigators.

A kidnapping case was filed with the police shortly after the children’s disappearance and the case was later transferred to the Falcons for further investigation.

Die Valke says that since investigating the case, investigating officers have undertaken an exhaustive and relentless search and followed up on every available and possible lead.

“Dozens of investigative interventions were carried out, including intelligence-led enquiries, inter-provincial follow-up work, community engagement and the analysis of all information brought to the attention of investigative officers.”

The Falcons say the children’s disappearance has reached a level of extraordinary concern and urgency.

“We urgently appeal to traditional leaders, community leaders, faith-based organizations, civil structures, educational institutions and non-governmental organizations that focus on child protection to help locate these children,” reads the Falcons’ plea.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of these four children is requested to contact col. Raymond Buys, commander of the Falcons’ unit against serious organized crime, on 082 301 1133 or ao. Call Norton Ndabambi on 082 559 4613.
