We have left the community confused and asking how a person who is so useful to the community is killed, the incident of the assassination of a famous businessman from Qoloqolo, Mthwalume.

It’s on the weekend learned from its source that the deceased, Mr. Lungani “The Bhiva” Gumede (50), was shot by unknown persons in an incident that happened last week.

It appears that the body of the deceased was found lying in Lovu with gunshot wounds. It is suspected that he was attacked by some people.

KwaZulu Natal police spokesperson, Lieutenant Paul Magwaza confirmed the killing of Gumede.

”His body was found with gunshot wounds in Lovu. The Makhutha police opened a case of murder. The reason for his killing was not yet known,” he said.

Gumede owned a construction company called The Bhiva. The killing of Gumede has left many people in the area depressed and unable to understand why he was killed.

Many believe that there is something wrong with his murder.

Another member of the community, who asked that his name be withheld, said that they are appalled by the killing of Gumede because of his obvious contributions to Mthwalume.

”Just tell me how brave it is to kill someone who was so good and helping the community. Where do people really take us from,” he says.

Another member of the community also lamented the same, saying that Gumede was helpful to them.

It’s on the weekend found out that Gumede had different programs to help the community including buying groceries for the needy and many more.

Last year there was a road in his village that the community had been complaining about for a long time called Gumede and he repaired it using his own money.

This act of his made him very bloody in the community.

He just died and last month he had a special talk withOf this country after he had built the Sibongujeza Primary school and added classrooms to it.

He told this newspaper that he felt it was very important for him to do something for the school because it bothered him to see it with small classrooms.

He pointed out that they spent a lot of money to complete this project which he said he is proud of. He thanked and praised the local builder who volunteered to be the one to build without being paid.

He strongly emphasized that he is a person who values the society and is not.

On Thursday there was a memorial service for him in the same school where he added rooms last month.
