There has been another scandal in Zulu’s Palace following the death of what is described as a treasure, Gideon Zulu’s Highness.
Prince Gcwalisile was a writer, he had an organization that promotes women, and he has also worked for different government agencies.
Prince Gcwalisile is the daughter of the former Minister of Social Development, Prince Gideon.
The spokesperson for the King and the Royal Family, Prince Thulani of Gqikazi Zulu, said they were shocked by Prince Gcwalisile’s kneeling.
“You will remember that Mntwana was a writer of books as he once wrote a book with his father. He once wrote a book of hymns for schools. He was a treasure in itself as he kept the information he received from his father. If you remember correctly, the old royals are still very young. It’s hard when we see them go,” said the Child
Prince Thulani said that they are worried about the death of the Royal Family.
“This one the issue is embarrassing. If you remember from the 18th of April there is always a funeral at the Palace. That weekend the Suthu people (Prince Gibizizwe) were buried, the next we were buried (Zibindini, Prince Gcinabani Thembisile Zulu). This weekend was the burial of Prince Muziwoxolo.
“We feel that there is a leader, which is normal in the Royal Palace. It is normal that when a leader goes down, it happens one after the other. We cry to the King that in his time, the adults leave.”
The son of Mntwana Gcwalisile, Luyanda Kabanyane, posted an order on social media where he announced Mntwana’s kneeling.
He asked them to be given the opportunity to mourn as a family.
The church where Mr. Gcwalisile served, the Methodist Church of Southern Africa Paarl Valley Circuit, described him as a person who was dedicated and loving.
“He was a blessing to the church. He made a name for himself by serving God. We will always remember his contributions.”
Prince Gcwalisile holds a doctorate from the University of Toronto, Canada. In 2011, he was awarded at the heroes and heroines ceremony organized by Nedbank.
He was awarded for the work done by the organization he founded Qolothani Makhosikazi.
