Faith singer Jumbo Nyangiwe and Gqom Sizwe Mdlalose promise a lot as they say that on Friday many people’s lives will be changed at the Mayine Silent Worship Experience event, which will be held for the first time in Durban.
This event is expected to attract the attention of many at the DCC Jesus Dome, as it has brought together religious singers including Ntokozo Mbambo, Lisanda Beja, Oncemore Six, Ncebakazi Msomi, Khaya Mthethwa, Mpumi Mtsweni and others.
Yesterday, the team organizing this event went to Velabahleke High School, Mlaza to pray for the students.
Sizwe, who is famous as an entertainer who is also a singer, said that what pleases him about the organizers of this event is that they don’t start visiting schools when they have an event, but they do that every time to strengthen the students through prayer.
“I really like going with the team that organizes this event because the students need to go and pray from time to time as there is a lot going on in the schools. So at the event that will be held on Friday we invite everyone to be successful,” said Sizwe.
He said those who will attend this event will leave blessed as they plan to pray for all the good and bad things that happen in this country.
Jumbo said the musicians who will be there will not only entertain people with music but will also leave words to renew faith in people.
He said that the way this event is organized is unusual as everyone will be wearing their headsets so that they can get closer to God in the way they want without being disturbed by anyone.
The principal of Velabahleke, Mr. Bheki Mhlongo, said that it is exciting that people of this level have arrived without being invited, without paying them money and giving them the food they need as a school.
He stressed that prayers like this in schools are necessary as they encourage students to do well in their studies.
Tickets to attend the event are now available at Webtickets and Pick n Pay for R250.
