A leading actor playing the role of Dintle Nyathi in the recently concluded etv show Scandal!, Mapaseka “Pasi” Koetle – who has been in the show for 13 years, has revealed that the experience of acting in this show that made him famous, helped him hone his skills in this role.

Mapaseka (37) from Bloemfontein, Free State, says so in an interview withOf this country about Kea Maponya’s role, which she plays in the new Mzansi Magic show May Owhich airs Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m.

“These 13 years I have been in Scandal! It has helped me with the great experience I have had in this role, and it has also helped me to make sure that when these opportunities like the one I got now, I see that they will continue to grow me and look ahead,” he said.

Narrating the role of Kea in Nyala O, Mapaseka said that this opportunity came to him at a good time as it coincided with the end of the show Scandal, where he is looking to present himself in a different way to people who love television shows.

“When I saw the script of this play, I really liked this place because it has many parts that will open people’s eyes to different situations. Kea is a wife and a mother of a child who is in the growing stage, it seems that everything is going well for her, but in addition she is facing situations of love, marriage, being a mother and the challenges of trying to unite and establish her family,” said Mapaseka.

“One of the things I like about Kea is that she has many things that many people will be touched by, and I believe that there are many women who see themselves in her journey, and I am looking forward to being there fully,” he said.

Regarding future projects, she said that acting will always be her priority, but she is also looking forward to continue telling stories that will touch people – which could be acting and producing acting shows that she says, then growing her YouTube podcast Mommy Diaries By Pasi, which has more than 120,000 followers.

Other actors who will appear in the film are Matshaba, Cindy Mahlangu, Rhami Maponya, Aubrey Mmakola, Pretty, Pretty, Slindile Nodangala and Elizabeth Serudenye.
