Fans have been allowed to vote for their favorites in the South African African Music Awards, which are less than a month away from being hosted in the North West.
The Samas, which will be in their 32nd year, return to the Sun City Superbowl on August 15 where they made their mark.
Sama spokesperson, Unati Gwija, said that the road to the event has started.
He said the Sama continue to show the power of music to highlight places, attract tourists and stimulate the economy.
The categories that have been opened for fans to vote on are Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year.
Last year, Mthandeni SK won both of them with the song Gucci featured Mawhoo.
For Record of the Year, Jazzworx and Thukuthula were nominated seven times. They were also nominated several times for Music Video of the Year as they appeared four times.
