Residents of Mbumbulu in ward 96 have shed blood as they protest against electricity for a month.

These residents decided to leave their homes and enter the street because they are disgusted by the lack of electricity in this area.

During the protest It is a country found that the situation ended up deteriorating due to public anger and the police had to intervene.

It is said that the police dispersed the public with rubber bullets, which is where the dust is said to have originated as there were members of the middle who did not want to hear anything.

The situation is said to have finally forced the police to resort to using rubber bullets, which is where the victims end up bleeding due to serious injuries.

It turns out that someone has a serious head injury, and the other one has a serious eye injury.

When contacted, the local councillor, Mr. Lihle Makhanya, admitted that there is an electricity problem that has dragged on for a while.

“We are not sitting down and we are trying to find a solution to the electricity problem in this area,” the councilor explained. He said the problem started after the increase in the number of residents.

“After that, Eskom told us that there is another system that they have to use in order to be able to feed all the people because there are too many people. After that, it was difficult for the electricity to work, you had to switch the switches,” he said.

He said that they had several meetings with Eskom and explained to them that they like to have a big challenge in this electricity crisis in Mbumbulu.

“They explained it to us well and even said that a new system is needed to make it easier for the people of Mbumbulu to get electricity because there are too many of them,” he said.

The councilor said that they started from the ground up and sat down with the community to inform them about the challenge but it was to no avail on Monday and they finally chose to leave the houses and play around.

“They finally chose to go out and protest because they were complaining that this thing is treating them very badly,” the councilor said.

It has confirmed that there have been blood transfusions in the protest.

“There are people with serious head injuries and there is also a person with a very bad eye injury, which is very bad and we didn’t want it to happen,” said the councillor.

Another member of the community who spoke toOf this country expressed its great concern about this problem. She said they didn’t do anything to express their displeasure by email but it was just the same.

“There is no one who can stand what we are living in this place. Who can stand living without electricity and the story is always being told that there is no electricity. We are tired of the real thing now,” it said.

It said that as citizens, they clearly see that no one cares about them in this situation.

As of press time last night, the police have yet to respond to the matter.
