UNATHI Nkayi, who has made a name for herself as a broadcaster, also launched a program that looks at skills in music,Idols South Africa has revealed that one of the things that made him take a break from this industry for a long time without being seen is because he wanted to focus on raising his children.

He said that in the past years there were many jobs that he had been doing which made him lose a lot of time that he did not spend with his family.

He also said that his father’s passing has stopped him from doing the things he likes, such as being on the radio and producing music.

He was talking like this as his song will be released tomorrow after years of not releasing music saying Jealousy.

This song is just out, it will be followed by Unathi’s fourth album African Love which will be released later this year.

Speaking about his return to music, Unathi said that he made this song in collaboration with a kaito singer, uProfessor, and another newcomer to this role but with amazing talent, Meez.

“This is a song that talks about the feelings associated with jealousy that occurs especially in romantic relationships. When I released it, I felt like I was reborn as it made me heal from the different things that I have gone through and that I have grown as an artist. This song will be released together with clips that will be seen in my video which I have confirmed that I am holding back on how I want it to look. I chose to shoot it in Soweto to remember the youth of this country who fought for freedom and in it I wear traditional customs to remember who we are.” he explained.

He said he was happy about how much he has grown in the things that affect the field of artists, especially in this time when these things are done with modern technology.

“It wouldn’t be good for me to just release a song that people enjoy and then it ends like that. I’m well known for my songs that tell deep stories, and this time I wanted to do that. Knowing the different things I’ve found in the fields I’ve worked in has made things much better in the work I’m doing, people will see the video of this song as if it were a movie, and I was surprised by the humor in it,” she said.

He thanked the Professor for working with him, saying that he had been wanting them to work together for years but it was not possible.
