Three suspects were shot dead while confronting the police in Mashu. It is believed that they were wanted for the murder of a policeman last year. On Friday afternoon, the DPCI Provincial Tracking Team, SAPS PMB K9, SAPS Provincial TRT, Durban Metro Police Special Operations Directorate and security guards from private security companies tracked down the suspects while they were traveling in a Hyundai car on the M25 road.
