She is crying out for answers from the relatives of the accused, the family of a woman from Mabaleni, Mahlongwa, Mkhomazi, who is said to have been brutally murdered by the father of the children in the early hours of Sunday.

Ms Zinhle Khomo (35) who was known as Neneh, died in this incident which is said to have happened at the suspect’s house in Gqolweni.

According to her sister, Ms. Ngane Khomo, the family was called to the incident by a neighbor, who knows where the incident took place.

He said they received a call from a neighbor, but there was no call from the suspect’s family.

He said that when they rushed to the incident, they came across police vehicles and the community had gathered there.

“The subsidized house, which was the scene of the incident, was surrounded by police tape, and they ordered us to stop on the other side. That’s when we realized that the suspect was inside the police van trying to hide by lying down on his stomach,” said Ms. Khomo.

He said it was not the amount of blood that they encountered when they were brought inside the crime scene.

“Blood met us at the door. When we entered the room, we saw it spattered on the wall, on the curtains, it shows that he was strangled there,” said Ms. Khomo.

He said they saw his sister’s body, lying on the bed, beating with a frog suit. He stated that they saw the iron on the floor covered in blood, the electric cable, as well as another hanging from the ceiling of the room, both covered in blood.

“We suspect that since his body was on the bed, he then put it on the rope as it was bloody and the body also had a wound on the neck,” he said.

He said they noticed that his head was severely injured, his body was green everywhere and other parts of his body had open wounds, indicating that he had been hit with something that concealed him.

He said that while narrating the story, the neighbor said that he came to the scene of the incident at night, he heard loud noises, and the deceased shouting and crying.

“When he knocked on the window and the door, the suspect opened the door and kicked him to the ground. When he woke up, he realized that my sister was being attacked and not a little, but he didn’t have the strength to help her, instead, he just took their son (4) who was in the house, and took him home.

It turns out that besides this four-year-old child, there is another two-year-old, who is said to have been sleeping with her grandmother on the day of the incident.

He revealed that the neighbor told them that after 30 minutes he heard the suspect knocking on his house, he thought he had killed him, and then he went back to their house.

“The neighbor said that he did not follow up because he thought that as he was going to tell him, he had already reported it to his family, and it turned out that it was not the case, he slept with the body until he got rich in the morning,” he said.

It is said that in the morning when he was rich, he said that he wanted to run away as he had reported the incident to the police, but they still came.

“We are looking for justice for brutally killing my sister. We are looking for answers from her family as to how someone is killed in a crowded courtyard, they don’t hear, and do nothing,” said Ms. Khomo.

He said that if the noise was heard by the neighbor, it is impossible that the family in the yard did not hear anything.

He said the suspect’s grandmother complained that they had abandoned them, that her son had killed someone in the yard.

He revealed that the suspect was always beating the deceased to the extent that he filed a case against him with the police, and even made court restraining orders against him, but it is said that he later canceled everything, and they seem to have started dating again.
