A political expert and the daughter of the MKP leader described the dismissal of the party’s spokesperson, Mr. Nhlamulo Ndhlela, as a sacrificial lamb.

Political analyst, Mr. Sandile Swana, and the daughter of the party leader, Mrs. Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, said that Ndhla died for the sins of other people.

Ndhlale was identified as the spokesperson of the party and member of Parliament.

His dismissal was announced in an emergency press conference on Monday night.

Ndhlale is accused of putting the new party structure he announced on Saturday, the MKP Institute, on the leaders’ heads.

While reading the statement, Ndhla announced the dissolution of the executive body, the National High Command.

He announced that the group led by the deputy leader of the MKP, Dr. John Hlophe, will be the one to appoint the new executive committee.

When Ndhlala read this statement, there were Zuma, Hlophe, and the national chairman, Mr. Nathi Nhleko.

The general secretary of the MKP, Mr. Sibonelo Nomvalo, said that Ndhlela came and said things that were not agreed upon.

Nomvalo said that when Ndhla presented the draft, he said that he would conduct research.

“This is not the right way to do things because he ended up giving the framework power that it does not have.”

Nomvalo said it was not easy for the leaders to stop Ndhla when they realized that he was talking about things that were not agreed upon.

“It is very true that the leaders were there when he was reading the statement. It was difficult for them to stop him. It was difficult for them to stop him in the middle of the speech. It would not look good on the people to disturb someone while he was reading the statement. That is why they waited for him, and he finished.”

Nomvalo said they called Ndhla and others involved and accused them of this act.

“They realized their mistake and apologized.”

When he read the statement, Ndhla said he was reading it on behalf of Zuma.

Swana said Zuma participated in the announcement made by Ndhla.

He said this while talking to SABC News.

“This is a big announcement that they are making and it is unusual. We have never seen anything like this here in South Africa. I thought to myself that Zuma had come up with something new but everything has disappeared. Zuma was there when the announcement was made. We needed someone to be blamed. It is obvious that Ndhla has been blamed.”

Mrs Zuma-Sambudla wrote on social media that Ndhla has become a sacrificial lamb.

“One day the truth will come out.”

Ndhlale had held this position since the establishment of MKP in 2023.

MKP has appointed a journalist, Mr. Sifiso Mahlangu, to be the spokesperson for the party.
