THE APOLOGIES of the South African Football Association (Safa) for the recent negligence that led to the delay of Bafana Bafana’s plans for the World Cup that starts in nine days, does not seem to make a difference to those who care about South African football without the idea of cleaning up the executive committee which should start with the president Danny Jordaan.

Safa also revealed its buttocks when it was forced to apologize to the nation following the interruption of the Bafana trip that was supposed to take place on Sunday because some were not allowed to board the flight to Mexico due to a misunderstanding of their visas.

Bafana’s deputy coach, Helman Mkhalele, ended up not getting on the Bafana flight that left on Monday instead of Sunday morning.

Since Safa posted an apology for this on its various social media pages, it did not take long before those who followed the South African footballer expressed their anger.

What is clear from what fans are saying on social media is that the problem is Jordaan who is handling this position with cruelty.

Jordaan is just in this position, there have been many complaints about him but it is said that in this year’s elections in September, Jordaan is campaigning to return.

In its apology, Safa also announced that it has formed a committee of three (David Molwantwa, Vincent Tseka and Xsolisi Sibam) that will directly deal with the impact of Bafana’s movement as the World Cup will be held in Mexico, Canada and the United States of America (USA).

“We don’t want to know what Safa has to say, but we want to know if Bafana is leaving and when they will be kicked out and they should be kicked out? This is what Mydali Labeko asked on X.

“Apologizing means nothing. Safa must clean up all these ignorant people who are full of it,” said Brian Mlotshwa.

Harry Ngunezi on Facebook, said: “The problem is that positions in Safa are obtained through politics like this Jordaan there. “Can you just say how Tseka is still working in this organization?

It is also clear that Tseka’s inclusion in this committee did not go down well with Bafana fans since he was the one who was pointed out for the mistake of playing Teboho Mokoena inappropriately which was followed by a three point penalty from Fifa.

The big question is when did Safa know that Bafana would need visas to move freely in the World Cup?

It has been more than seven months since Bafana secured a place in the World Cup, but until the day of departure, Safa has not prepared their visas.

What Safa highlights is the suspension of certain officials from positions but if you notice, most of those officials are the ones who are fighting for Jordaan to continue to rule by force.

The recklessness of this association was also exposed in Bafana’s farewell match before the World Cup against Nicaragua recently in Soweto. In this historic game that ended 0-0, there was a time when Bafana played with 12 players on the field.

Although this should have been noticed in a whisper, the question remains as to who allowed such a mistake to happen in a game watched by millions of people?

The disempowerment by Fifa rules of the sports commissioner, Gayton McKenzie, and his office, makes them end up exclaiming because there are no measures they can take for the organization.
