IMOTO: SUZUKI JIMNY

CARS like the Suzuki Jimny are the ones that are said to have their own people that you won’t tell them anything about.

The Jimny has built a reputation for being a small vehicle that many people like to travel with when they go out of the city to sleep in the woods.

Since then, there have been three doors, but in order to be open to more people, they have changed that and introduced five doors.

They made it a little longer and lengthened the wheelbase to 2,590mm.

Gabado left it at 210mm as with three doors.

I like what they’ve done because it’s now easier to get into and has more boot space than the three-door hatchback.

While I’m talking about the space, in the front you lack a place to put drinks. I usually travel with a water drum, but in the Jimny I was forced to hug it because if I put it on the side seat, it would roll over.

Other than that, it doesn’t mess anything up. There is a large touchscreen infotainment system to which you connect a mobile phone via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, play the radio, see the outside when you park and more.

I like that the buttons for setting the temperatures are displayed on the touchscreen.

There is one USB charging port and a small cell phone slot.

In the doors you can only put papers, not drink.

The Jimny is powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine. It has a power of 75kW and a torque of 130Nm. The gearbox is a 5 speed manual and rear wheel drive.

It’s a car that you can pull up and start driving in the dirt and mountains because that’s where it’s at home.

On the open road when you increase the speed it becomes noisy inside.

In the city it doesn’t turn close, it turns away when you park.

I am a country but not very sensitive to bombs.

Since it’s just a mountain bike, there’s a 4L and a 4L for all-wheel drive and the power you need.

Price:

1.5 GLX 5MT – R459 900

It comes with a four-year or 60,000km service plan and a five-year or 200,000km warranty.
