IMOTO: SUZUKI JIMNY

I was chatting with another guy during our morning run and the topic of cars came up.

During the speech, he revealed that he has a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado that he bought for his size, but he has never taken it off the tarmac and driven it into the mountains.

This made me realize that there may be many people who buy qawantaba not because they want to go anywhere but because of love.

Suzuki Jimny is one of those cars that some people buy because they like it. A lot of people I always meet are clean and you see that they don’t know mud at all.

For those people with an automatic gearbox it would be good, especially if they don’t travel long distances.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to drive the Jimny 5-door GLX auto.

It has a 1.5 liter petrol engine with a power of 75kW and a torque of 130Nm. The gearbox is a 4-speed automatic, not the same as a 5-speed manual.

In the city, you made life easier because there was no need to keep balancing in traffic.

However, he likes to keep changing gears and keep his reputation high.

Another high is the way it consumes petrol in a 40 liter tank. When it’s full you travel a little less than 400km. For me it was showing that it consumes 8.7l per 100km which is more than the convertible I have driven.

Since it is just a mountain bike, it has a small gear to make it pull with all the wheels (4L and 4H).

The left side is 210mm.

The one I was traveling with was equipped with a towbar so that you can pull the trailer if you feel that the loading space in the back is not enough. Although it is not very big, it is better because it is more than a three-door.

Inside, I don’t like that it doesn’t have places to put the water drum. What it does have is a touchscreen infotainment system to which you connect a mobile phone via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and more.

If you are too lazy to change gears you can check it out but expect it to dry up on petrol.
