ILOKHU always brought a lady from Swatini, Nothando Hlophe, to the awards ceremony, who stood out when the nominees for the National Gospel Music Awards (Ingoma) were announced.
Nothando of the famous song In the Battle of Sothiniwas nominated for the most followed by Fikile Mlomo and Lindani Gumede.
The artists selected for it were announced at a big event at the Encore Auditorium, Johannesburg.
This event, which will be held for the 13th time this year, is highlighted by the selection of many artists from this country and neighboring countries, including young and old.
The founder of these awards who is also a Pastor, Dan Raseluma, congratulated all the nominees this year.
He pointed out that the big event where the awards will be given to the nominees will be held on August 29, in Johannesburg.
He said he was impressed to see the competition grow in this way.
“We are grateful to all those who have supported us since the beginning until now. The good thing is that there are many artists who ended up appearing after they started by being selected by us for this event and made them famous,” said Raseluma.
