Pressure is mounting for EFF Leader Mr. Julius Malema to be called to the Madlanga Commission hearing to explain his relationship with the Head of Hawks who is suspended in Johannesburg, Mr. Feroz Khan.

Mr. Vusi Shongwe, a member of the MK Party in parliament, has said it many times in this Commission that Malema was protecting General Khan from appearing in front of a parliamentary panel investigating allegations of suspicious relations between law enforcement agencies and gangs that smuggle drugs into the country.

These shocking allegations were revealed for the first time by General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi at a press conference on 6 July 2025.

Shongwe also revealed that Khan tried and failed to bribe him with a bribe of R10 million to keep him quiet and not be called to this Parliament hearing.

There is still a lot of work to be done by this Commission after the revelation of the chilling evidence of the containers seized from Khan who was leading a team of spies in the Gauteng police.

In these allegations, the issue of the theft of R2 billion stolen from the VBS bank in which Malema and his former deputy in the EFF, Floyd Shivambu, were involved.

In these contents there are also secret conversations between Khan and Malema about suspicious things related to corruption and organized crime between police officers and politicians.

When Mkhwanazi initially called a press conference about these allegations, Malema criticized Mkhwanazi and repeatedly roared in public.

He was saying that they should (force) Mkhwanazi, call him to their Committee in Parliament and he will explain about this thing he started.

Not long after, he told an eNCA reporter that the Madlanga Commission thing is just a game to tickle some people. But he also did not say anything about the establishment of their committee in Parliament which was tasked to do the same.

That didn’t scare us because at the beginning we were going to blow it up the gun in the Eastern Cape court was roaring in the same way and then in the end it was said that it was abandoning him and he screamed like an ambulance. The things said about Malema are not surprising.

The Sunday Times newspaper earlier this year published a report saying that the leader has a wealth of R90 million including farms and homes.

He has never worked anywhere and does not hide the fact that he comes from a wealthy family. Malema was once seen sitting with Mr. Matipande Sotheni, who is accused of slandering Mr. van der Merve, known as Witness D, who testified in Madlanga. How do you meet people like this? He is the one who knows.

After more than 100 days these structures were established it is clear even to a small child which frame knows what it is doing and where it is going. Since this one is with him and he talks until he roars alone in it, it is a story of bickering and bickering with his colleagues.

Allegations are swirling that if his friends (like Shadrack Sibiya) would appear in this committee, Malema would panic with the excuse that he had died or was ill, which no one could verify.

Later, shocking evidence came out linking him and Sibiya’s friend to the corruption of police officers, and the spit returned to his chest. He doesn’t say anything, and it is known that he does not agree to keep quiet when there is something that is bothering him.

In my opinion, if there is anything new coming out of the things that were seized from Feroz Khan or others called they will explain to the world.

The Madlanga Commission looks like we can trust that it will continue to do it well, doing it with respect for such a great job. We will sit humbly and wait for Mr. Julius Malema to say why he would oppose us if we say that he represents himself and his family in Parliament, not the masses and the EFF.
