The High Court in Pretoria has once again ruled in favor of the EFF leader, Mr. Julius Malema, in the case of defamation by the president of the party, Ngizwe Mchunu yesterday.
Ngizwe appeared in court to present his side of the story as to why the court should ignore its order that he should publicly apologize, not make any more disparaging remarks about Malema and pay all the lawyers’ fees.
Mchunu failed to give any valid reasons why the court should change its interim order. The court ended up making this order final.
It is said that he should make a video to apologize to Malema and retract what he said about him. The court ordered that this video should be uploaded to the sources where it appeared that Malema was discredited. It then ordered him to pay Malema’s lawyers’ fees.
As it happened, Mchunu appeared on social media a few weeks ago saying that Malema was in favor of immigrants, he was supporting him, because he is benefiting from R60 million from Nigerians who trade drugs. He accused him of using his political power to protect immigrants involved in crime.
Speaking to the media outside the court, Ngizwe said that no one knows that Malema has always insulted people inside and outside Parliament.
He said he never insulted her, but he was telling the truth he knew.
“It’s better that they arrest us, let’s stay in jail. Let’s not allow Malema to disturb us in our campaign to deport illegal immigrants,” said Ngizwe, who also expressed concern about the installation of the Somali king in Johannesburg.
“They even used our symbol, the coat of arms, which is our prayer garment. It is our sanctity that freedom has finally arrived,” he said.
Ngizwe was supported by the army as well as others in the country. Among them was Nkosikhona “Phakelumthakathi” Ndabandaba, who said they thanked everyone who came out in large numbers to support Ngizwe, and said they asked the country’s leaders to pay attention to something specific to South Africa.
He said the Constitution, which is written on the inside that South Africa belongs to everyone who lives in it, on the outside is written as the Constitution of South Africa, which means that what is inside is about the people of this country.
“This means that it is talking about the people of South Africa and not the people of other places. People who stop distorting our Constitution,” said Phakela.
He went on to say that they will fight for the Constitution to be changed from now on.
“We will not allow Malema to say that immigrants without documents are not made for documents because here he is defending his business outside the country that we do not know if it is legal as we hear that they are making illegal cigarettes,” said Phakela.
He accused Malema of saying that people have taken the land for themselves, if they have done that, his company of thugs will be sent to destroy them.
He said that since the immigrants are setting themselves up as kings, it is because they hear the water from the mouth.
Those who accompanied Ngizwe, were singing the song: “Malema is defiant, he was not beaten.”
