The Ndimande brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi, who bailed last week, have now been charged.

The brothers were found guilty of legal murder and they will appear at the Durban High Court on June 19, 2026, to start the process of trial, together with five other suspects. They are accused of murder, conspiracy to murder, and attempted murder in connection with the shooting of AKA and Tibz, as well as related to other murders and robberies in the taxi industry.

One of AKA’s biggest fans, Wade Daniels, who was in court, says he is happy that the case is proceeding after the delay. He believes that the trial at the High Court will bring answers and bring the family of Kienan Forbes (AKA) closer to justice and their long-awaited closure. “We have all lost a good man and his family must be sad that this case has been dragged out. I hope that they will get justice soon. I feel better now that the case is about to go to the high court because they will finally solve the problem and seek justice for the killing of AKA,” said Daniels.
