Three died when members of the National Intervention Unit shot at the suspects. This incident happened on Wednesday morning in Nyamazana, Kwadwesi, Gqeberha. The police were following information about the suspect in the murder case that happened in June 2026 in Kwadwesi.
The police used that information to go to the identified house, but did not find the suspect when they arrived. On the way to the Kwadwesi police station, they received information that the suspect had returned home. They went back, and when they approached the house, the suspects fired at the police, who also fired back.
During the exchange of bullets, three men were shot and killed, and when the situation was investigated, two illegal guns and ammunition were found. These guns will be examined by experts to determine if they have been used in other crimes.
