MAMELODI Sundowns Ladies, who are the defending champions of the Safa Hollywoosbets Super League, have shown that they will continue to dominate this division after starting the 2026 season in high gear.

Sundowns Ladies, who have won all four matches played this Hollywoodbets season, came back with important points defeating the University of Western Cape (UWC) 4-0 on Saturday, at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium, KwaMhlanga.

The victory of Banyana Ba Style made them continue to lead the Super Era log at Hollywoodbets with 12 points. This puts them in a position to finish the first round of the season rolling ahead in points.

They opened the season by beating Diepkloof Ladies 6-0, followed by a 4-0 thrashing of the University of Pretoria, and beat Richmond United 5-0. They have scored 19 goals in four games and have not conceded a single one.

Sundowns are followed by Copper Belts FC who are in second place with nine points, who also returned with important points beating the University of Pretoria 1-0.

Starting with a flurry in the Super Era, JVW FC did the same in the Super Rise as they have won all four games played and are leading with 12 points in this stream.

JVW continued to come back with important points beating First Touch Ladies 6-1 on Friday.

Meanwhile: The KwaZulu-Natal team, Ezemvelo Women’s FC, won their first game this season beating the University of Fort Hare 1-0 on Saturday.

This team from Mlazi, Durban, is the only one in this province to hold the Hollywoodbets division following the relegation of Durban Ladies and Royal AM last season.

This weekend the Hollywoodbets games will be played at Sugar Ray Xulu, Clermont.
