It is about to grind another jaw in the Skebhe organization as there is a security unit. This came from the launch event of the security company, Iskebhe National Protection Services, at Zero Lounge in Nquthu, on Friday.

Skebhe is an organization that was established to monitor the theft of cattle in KwaZulu-Natal, as it is fighting all kinds of crime in other provinces of the country.

Speaking at the event, the President of Skebhe, Mr. Sibangani Manyathi, said that the main purpose of coming up with this company is not to make money but to strengthen the ways to fight crime. He said that they do not intend to interfere with the work of other security companies but to cooperate with them to stop the crime that has broken out in this country.

Manyathi said they were urged by Skebhe members to establish a security company. He said that their guards will not only work in Nquthu but will spread to all the cities and provinces of the country.

“If our security guards are needed in Durban, they will go to the company they are needed for.”

He said they are open to anyone who wants to work with them, which could be farm owners and various businesses.

The Vice President of Skebhe, Mr. Zakhele Mncube, said that although they will look after the people who are members of Skebhe as they are still working as volunteers, they will be hiring security guards trained for this work because they will be following the rules, terms and conditions set by the government.

And Manyathi said that they will use the democratic system when hiring because they do not want to be biased by hiring relatives and friends of Skebhe leaders. He said they will look for security guards who have credentials for this job and who are not authorized to do it.

Continuing, Manyathi said that they will not even bother with a security guard who is drunk, dishonest and smokes in public because he will damage their reputation. He said that another purpose of this company is to create job opportunities for youths who are working at home with security certificates.

Manyathi said they will have offices in Nquthu and Johannesburg and then extend to other provinces. He said this company is an indication that Skebhe’s work is not dying, rather it is growing. This event was attended by representatives of the local royalty and Nquthu Municipality and members of the community.
