The countryside undoubtedly remains the heartbeat of South African agriculture, and this year the popular Vivo Farmers’ Marketing Day returns to prove exactly that.

With the Vivo Farmers’ Marketing Day committee firmly at the helm of affairs, the big focus this year is to expand this prestigious event even further.

The day serves as the ideal platform where farmers, business people and local communities can come together to share fresh ideas, build valuable relationships and properly celebrate the unique rural lifestyle.

With the appropriate theme “Rural Focus”, the festival deliberately returns to the core of what has made the Vivo Farmer Marketing Day such a huge success over the years: authenticity, practical solutions and that undeniable hospitality for which the Limpopo Forest is so famous.

According to the committee, visitors can look forward to a series of brand new elements that will put the true rural lifestyle in the spotlight. For the adventurous, there is an exciting “Biker Breakfast Run” on picturesque Bushveld roads, as well as a challenging 4×4 route.

Exhibitors are not excluded either, with a much more relaxed knife barbecue concept created especially for them. It all aims to create an informal space for genuine conversations, stronger business relationships and meaningful collaboration between those involved.

From the very latest agricultural innovations and informative discussions to the glamorous Women’s Festival, top-quality artists and the famous Bushveld hospitality – the Vivo Farmers’ Marketing Day promises to be an unforgettable experience that brings new ideas and will send people back to their farms and homes with heaps of new inspiration.

And even with new entertainment and technology, the Vivo Farmers’ Marketing Day is still about much more than just agriculture and a good time. It remains essentially “a project by the community, for the community”.

All proceeds from the festival flow directly back to local institutions in the area, including the CVO School Vivo. In this way, a stronger, more sustainable and progressive future for the entire region is being built together.

Marthinus Roets, the new chairman of the Vivo Farmers’ Marketing Day committee, extended a sincere invitation to farmers, business people and the general public to come and share in the spirit this year.

“Come and experience for yourself what the future of the countryside looks like in Vivo. Here you get more than just the latest implements and valuable agricultural insights. You experience the hospitality and energy of the Limpopo Bosveld.

“Whether you come for the talks, the Women’s Festival, the artists or the togetherness, you will go home with new ideas and a full heart. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Vivo.”
