PRESIDENT Cyril Ramaphosa has pointed the way to the Minister of Social Development Ms. Sisisi Tolashe.

The MEC in the President’s Office responsible for Women, Youth, and Living with Disabilities, Mrs. Sindisiwe Chikunga, has been commissioned.

Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Mr Vincent Magwenya, said the President used section 91 of the Constitution to remove Ms Tolashe from office.

“Mrs Chikunga will hold the reins of this department until a successor is appointed,” said Magwenya.

Ramaphosa was under pressure to fire Ms. Tolashe for many things that were complained about.

Some of them are donations of cars that he received from the women’s wing of the ANC, which he is said to have registered under his children.

Ms. Tolashe is the President of ANCWL.
