THE LEADER of the MKP, Mr. Jacob Zuma, believes that his party will win the next local government elections after he was touched by the hand of the man of God he saw when he visited the family of Indian businessmen who are wanted for crimes in this country.

Zuma said he has no doubt that he will win the next election as he has met a man he calls a man of God, a Pastor Niranjani Akhara Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri.

Zuma met Giri when he visited the Guptas, right there in India.

The Guptas were expelled from the country in 2018 after allegations that they were involved in corruption.

A lot of the Gupta’s property that they allegedly bought with the money from the tenders they got when Zuma was president has been seized.

Zuma said the Guptas invited him to meet this powerful man as he has established a new party.

“I will win the election because the man of God is with me. I was with him yesterday, and today. He makes things happen.”

Zuma said it broke his spirit to see the Guptas leaving South Africa like rats.

“I am happy to be here. I was visiting my brother who is my best friend who lived in South Africa for a long time. He left because there were people who were not happy with what he was doing in South Africa. They complained that I was working with him. They told him to leave South Africa. It was just bad luck. He really left, they followed him even after he left.”

Zuma said he will visit the Guptas again.

Zuma’s trip has been the talk of social media.

Many who commented on social media asked if he should have gone to meet people wanted by law enforcement agencies.

Some people have asked whether Zuma will be expelled from the MKP as happened to the party’s former general secretary, Mr. Floyd Shivambu, who was expelled to meet a Malawian pastor who is wanted for crimes in this country, Shepherd Bushiri.

MKP spokesperson, Mr. Sifiso Mahlangu, said he does not know if those who criticize Zuma’s trip are confused.

In a text posted on social media, Mahlangu said Zuma has the right to go to whatever church he wants to attend.

Mahlangu said it was not the first time Zuma had gone this week.

He said that President Cyril Ramaphosa has also recently been seen with a Zimbabwean businessman who is wanted for corruption in the country, Mr. Wicknell Chivayo.

Mahlangu said there are a number of MPs visiting Bushiri’s church.

“I don’t know what an exaggeration is.”
