The issue of the development of the Zondi nation and the achievement of development in it was at the top of the agenda, in a large meeting that brought together the Zondi chiefs that had been organized by the Zondi Unity organization.
The meeting which was held at the Coastland Hotel, Mhlanga, yesterday, according to the chairman of the Zondi Alliance, Mr Mzwandile Zondi popularly known as MG, said that it was to deliberate in detail on important plans affecting the development of the Zondi nation.
He said it was very important for them to have this meeting so that it will be the one that paves the way for the plans they will use to empower people of the Zondi surname.
“We are very determined to do everything we can to ensure that our nation develops.”
Continuing, he said: “In order for this to happen, we understand very well that we must unite and be of one mind, there is everything we do.”
He said that what they just want is progress in this nation from the young people there to the elderly.
He said there is no more complacency now unless this idea is moved forward. King Khethokuhle Zondi of Kwa Mpumuza, Pietermaritzburg, said that they have come together with the aim of reviving the unity of the Zondi tribe.
”Thank you for meeting like this today, we are Zondi kings. This meeting today is very important because it brings good ideas that bring progress to our entire nation,” he said.
King Malusi Zondi said they want to see this nation cooperate in every way.
“The history of the Zondi people in the Zulu nation is great. We have gathered to discuss how we can ensure that development also reaches the Zondi nations,” said the king.
Continuing, he said that the Zondi tribe then sent him to strengthen the bolts of communication between the Zondi tribe and Ndlukulu ka Zulu.
He also talked about the issue of religion and said that they should not leave it out there in everything they do.
