Nomfundo Mkhize, who grew up in the Ukhozi FM radio station, has suddenly resigned from the radio station, having joined it while still at school.

It’s on the weekend it found out from its source within this station that Nomfundo has submitted a letter of resignation to the management who has already accepted it.

Nomfundo, who made a name for herself among the station’s listeners and was nicknamed My F, joined Ukhozi in 2007, when she was still in Grade 11 at Pinetown Girls High School.

He introduced programs for young people including iState Your Mind, It’s Youth it isTeen Zone.

He has also broadcast the show God and the New Man taking over from Sbu Buthelezi who is also deceased in Khozini.

He resigned, then became the producer of the Sunday programs after the changes that began on the air in April.

He has coordinated theTogether With You which was presented by the late Bheka “Beekay” Mchunu, Good Night it isThank you 1223.

Last year he hosted the weekday morning show iVuka Afrika Breakfast Showand to say that Mroza Buthelezi is now the only one left at the station who was in that team. Co-hosts Sipho “DJ Sgqemeza” Mbatha, former sports presenter Mr. Sibisi, traffic presenter Ayanda Msweli and sound producer Bonga “Sphongo” Dladla did not return in April.

Currently, the reasons that led Nomfundo to leave the Eagles are not clear.

When contacted yesterday, he neither admitted nor denied that he was leaving but instructed the reporter to contact the SABC.

Efforts to get a comment from the SABC were unsuccessful as they did not respond to an email by press time.

The source said that he received an email sent to the staff by the program manager Langalethu Cele informing them of Nomfundo’s departure.

Again, it is said that no reasons were mentioned other than praising him for not only using the radio to entertain people but also encouraging them and encouraging the youth to use education to improve themselves.

It turns out that the managers expressed their sadness at his departure but said they support his decision, and wished him luck.
