Usuthu officially announces these players, It is a country then reported on Mdaka who plays on the left back, Vandala who catches him on the right corner, Phillips who knocks on the right back and Shumah who is a striker.
Ofori and Zungu, some of the famous players who joined Usuthu in the 2024/2025 season, it was hoped because of their experience but things denied them in this team.
Ofori, who is from Ghana, who was blocking the national team there, ended up being bench food due to a drop in form. At the end of last season, the jersey has been owned by Olwethu Mzimela.
It was the same with Zungu who was the engine of Bafana Bafana who joined Usuthu from Mamelodi Sundowns. His failure to find the goal he is known for in this team coached by Arthur Zwane is what made him lose his place in the scheme.
Shumah from Kenya is criticized for not looking at the post. It is expected that he will solve the goal problem that has plagued the Zulus, especially after the injury of Thandolwethu Ngwenya from Zimbabwe.
Ngwenya, who joined Usuthu at the beginning of last season from FC Platinum in Zimbabwe, was injured and had started to show signs of being a sharp striker. He scored seven goals and contributed to the load in the 19 games he played.
These new sticks cut by Suthu are expected to be seen for the first time in the KZN Premier’s Cup, which is an annual competition played by teams from this province who play in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) which will be held on July 24 and 25 in Durban.
