WESHELA signed the players from Kaizer Chiefs whose coach, Nasreddine Nabi, is under pressure to bring back the happy days in the Moroccan team, Raja Casablanca.

Nabi from Tunisia was introduced to Naturena in October last year after Amakhosi won the Nedbank Cup for the 2024/2025 season. After his departure, the job was given to the deputies he brought with him to Naturena, Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef. A few weeks ago, Nabi was hired by Raja to replace Fadlu Davids from South Africa in this team that is on a campaign to win the Botola Pro league title. He has won both league games since his arrival. He has placed this team in third place on the log as there are four games left in the season. Raja are three points behind AS FAR leaders.

The country revealed that Nabi is doing everything possible to find two players that he brings to Naturena, namely Inacio Miguel from Angola who plays in the back and Glody Lilepo from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) who plays on the sides. It is said that he wants to strengthen Raja with them next season.

“Nabi is calling these boys, Miguel and Lilepo. He wants them as he has got a job from Raja. The Chiefs already know this but no decision has been taken because the managers are waiting for him to use the right methods. I don’t see that they will have a problem letting these players go if both sides are happy,” said a source who knows everything about the Chiefs.

As it happens, no player is sure that he will have a place under the new coaching team led by Fernando Da Cruz from France who has changed many things at Naturena. It turns out that this coach does not want many players in his team since he wants to keep only those who will play. He is said to have made it clear that there are 28 or 30 players who play different positions on the field.

Meanwhile, Da Cruz chose to bring the goalkeeper coach with him to work with him at Chiefs. This ends all hopes of the return of Makhosi star, Itumeleng Khune who was rumored to replace Illyes Mzoughi who was a fan favourite.
