The cathamiya group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, continues to spread overseas as they are recording with the United Kingdom, Stornoway.

Mambazo, who has won five Grammy awards, is locked in the studio with Stornoway who will spend three days in Durban recording.

The songs they will perform will be on Stornoway’s upcoming album, Beyonder.

Mambazo’s manager, Xolani Majozi, in a statement said that this collaboration was done by the bass guitarist who is also the producer of Stornoway, Oli Steadman. Born in Johannesburg before moving to the United Kingdom.

Mambazo will not start working with a foreign artist. In the 80s she sang with the legendary Paul Simon on the album Graceland.
