Kaya 959 has confirmed its program changes for the new year by officially announcing DJ Fresh as the new Kaya Breakfast minister with a revamped weekday and weekend schedule.

The list includes new additions and familiar voices. Sweetness Motsepe joins Kaya 959 from YFM, Dee Nkomo has also left Capricorn FM, and Nonn Botha returns to the station, strengthening its weekend program and new weekday programs.

With DJ Fresh and Thato Mataboge at the helm of Kaya Breakfast from July 1, the station says its comprehensive program is built around the way its listeners live, work and go about their day, from early morning to weekend listening pleasure.

Maekanya Morotoba, Program Manager at Kaya 959, says the revamped program marks the beginning of an important new chapter for the station.

“The announcement of DJ Fresh was a big moment for Kaya 959, but it was also the beginning of a big story,” said Morotoba.

Now we show listeners the full picture with a show that is full of chaos, awareness and purpose. We are delighted to welcome You FM’s Sweetness Motsepe and Capricorn FM’s Dee Nkomo, and to welcome Nonn Botha to the Kaya 959 family. Their arrival strengthens the station’s connection with listeners and adds a touch of fun to the weekend.”
